Hello Sir, it is a really fun class. But I was wondering if Google ads can promote Youtube channels as well?

As far as I’m aware, the closest we can get is to promote a video within the channel. However, upon click they will view the video and will be exposed to your channel. Also, in the video make sure you have call to actions like subscribe. But, let me keep this in mind and share more as I run across it!

Hi again Ben! Essentially the same question I have with Google Ads i posted in this forum a few hours ago:

HOw does YOUTUBE charge for ads? When your video was watched 30 seconds and/or someone clicks on it?

What if NO ONE reaches 30seconds and no one clicks ads in a day. Will Google still charge from my daily budget?

    Thanks Ben! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Another question, please.

About linking Google Ads and Youtube channel —
What if i will be running ads for a client’s YouTube (I’m not the owner), how do i link?
Will Manager Access of the client’s YouTube channel suffice?
Or would i need the client’s log in details?

    Thanks Ben!

    Hey All!

    Lots of great questions 🙂

For skippable ads, google will only charge when someone watched 30 seconds (or the full video) or clicked/interacted with the ads. If these don’t happen, you don’t pay.

But there are other video campaigns that charge based on cost per 1000 impressions (CPM). More info here:

    On Channel Linking: ‘

I believe you can send the request from Google Ads, and it will hit their channel. You may need to get the email associated with their channel.

If you still run into issues, I would contact Google support: https://ads.google.com/intl/en_us/home/contact-us/
